He apparently really believes all that matters is what he thinks.  This is definitely a good way to be happy, but if you REALLY believe all that matters is what you think you are likely to piss everyone else off if not commit crimes which make you appear to be a sociopath or schziophrenic or something.

Flo, the reason why people try to say "all that matters is what you think" to other people is because most people place too much importance on what others think, but they really dont expect you'll totally stop caring what others think.

The way it is SUPPOSED to work is, you are SUPPOSED to care what other people think.  And no amount of us telling you that all that matters is what you think is SUPPOSED to actually convince you of that.  It is just supposed to be an encouragement that something someone said or did that was cruel to you doesn't matter, it isn't intended to give you license to be a total ass.

however, i genuinely don't give a flying fuck at a galloping goose about other people, only if i stand to get something out of it (at least i'm honest), although i do want people to like me.  however, it's often expedient to act as though one does care.  means to an end, and all that.  and that's auseful skill to learn - when it's a good idea.

they all work.  it's just the thinking about it (well, the trying not to) which is the fucking killer.

i starting to lose it on a regular basis, cos of just that.

I just get fucking bored. You wouldn't think you spent that much time smoking... until you aren't doing it (roll, lick, seal, tap, sit with fag in gob for ten minutes while reading, light it, smoke it, dock it, start rolling next one...) so now I have to try not to think about it. I don't like gum. carrots are too bulky and don't light. water slows down the eating but does nothing for the distraction, plus I get sick of having to piss like a racehorse every couple of hours. walking up and down the stairs isnt even worth considering on grounds of being irritating. willpower feeling taxed as tired. considering a bowl or two, but wasn't going to indulge in owt tonight. might do anyway. dammit i'm fucking bored.
