Reflecting on that the last conversation I had with a certain someone, about a month ago, began along the lines of "do you think she's prettier than me?    Please, I like that you're honest about these things," and only got worse from there on in.  Shortly after that, I got a text from her saying that she didn't have time to see me again this year.

Yeah, I hate when stuff like that happens.

More or less; I tried to be as tactful as possible, but she has acne issues and she was comparing herself to some hot girl who'd starred in a student film at her film college.

With the economy getting worse , the cost of living going up, and wages not keeping up with inflation I wonder if the suicide rate is goiing to go up especially people who have worked so hard for years only to lose everything..

Good question.  It's depression the crap out of me.

I also wonder at what point the U.S. is going to end up with mass rioting, or something even more organized, by way of protest.  If there wasn't an upcoming election I think we might already be at that point; as-is, there's at least a tiny possibility of some hope/some change.

I expect that it will be the ones who have not yet learned to work hard for little gain and make do with what they have who will off themselves, along with those who have known false wealth.

This isn't the first time the shit has hit the fan for the established upper lower middle class, nor the upper middle lower class. The lower classes will not notice the difference. Those families aren't even hit by the fact that gas prices are soaring or mortgages are foreclosing.

Lower upper middle classes and lower upper classes are the ones who are overdue for a reality check.

What concerns me is the pattern of a economic depression possibility leading to a world war and all the consequences of it; history might be repeating itself right before our eyes, but under different circumstances...

I should add that usually desperate times call for desperate measures, and that is why I hold such concerns.
