Sounds like he is desperate and thinks that since he fails at making friends, he might as well make enemies.   Part of it is a cry for attention and help in my opinion.   I haven't been to WP in ages.

Apparently in Texas there's an old law that states that homocide is legal as long as one tells the killee how, where, and when they are going to be killed.
