Went there once for a day.  It was amazing.  Need to go back for at least a week or so.

Debian Sid. It breaks things every now and then but it's fun.

I might try Ubuntu on my laptop, but I really hate the destructive nature of it's bootloader. If I ever decide to get rid of it, it's hassle trying to make my other partitions bootable again.

Got a new computer, plus the software I need to run my plotter (cuts vinyl for stickers and graphics) won't run on it.

I suspect you'd have trouble with any bootloader, though. I don't know about OSX but Microsoft has never as much as acknowledged the existence of Linux before. They just wipe it out from the MBR when they install.

I used to run XP's bootloader in an older machine with Debian, XP, and Win 98 (with LILO as a secondary bootloader), but it was a pain to update everything.
