First thing I thought of was being stuck in one of those middle seats when the theatre is full and needing to go to the toilet. The horror of trying to get past many people.

But it looks lovely when it is empty. :)

yeah. you should never get a seat near the middle anyway. you get far better sound if you're seated a bit to the right, around row 11 or 12 (of 27).

oh, and i never watch anything in there when there are people around. i *hate* people. :)

i always sit in the middle, but i never almost ever leave to pee. i avoid drinking and pee obsessively if i'm going to see a movie.

first rule of auditorium acoustics: never listen to anything along a room symmetry axis. in other words, it's ALWAYS better to sit somewhat to the left or to the right in a movie theatre.
