Unless you have Vista, then use Snipping Tool it is the best thing ever.

1. When you want to copy or snip an image on your computer go to Start>All programs>Accessories>snipping tool and click it.2. You will notice the page fades out (white overlay), merely put your mouse cursor (or tablet pen) in the bottom right hand corner of the image and drag it so the red line outlines what you want to snip.3. Save the image.
