I don't sleep on my face but have to have it covered with a pillow I can imagine waking up bloody in the middle of the night

And as for piercings in general, yeah, I'd be pretty badly fucked in a fight because of my ears (picture below, though I may have posted it here before on another thread- I have eleven piercings in both ears and quite frankly it makes HAIRCUTS dangerous), but to my understanding

1.  It's pretty easy to rip someone's ears off anyway.
2.  It's also pretty easy to beat the shit out of someone my size if you're bound and determined to.

Did you get many infections? I got one hole in each ear and had to let them fil up because of terrible infections. What are yoru methods of avoiding it besides cleaning them with the solution?

Putting up with many infections for the first couple years, lol.  Peroxide, landing the wounds if they swelled.  They don't tend to infect much now; i've not gotten a new piecring in a couple years.  now, I just take out all the earrings and clean them once a week.  Seems to work.

Me?  I sleep onn my sidse with my head lying bwteen two pillows and my ear in the space between the pillows.  (which people tenhd to find hilarious for some reason.)
