Keeping friends can be a real hassle, both with time and money. Some friends are worth the trouble, online friendships seem to be much easier to maintain. Online there is just less invested and it is easier to not even care at all when someone fucks you over. In real life friendships can be just a pain and really not worth it a good portion of the time. They can just confirm my hatred for humanity sometimes.
When I am out in the world, I do want to be left alone for the most part. I don't really want people I don't know coming up to me and introducing themselves, it makes me uncomfortable because I don't know what to say to them usually. Add in the fact that this happens normally when I am forced to be at a place where there is a crowd of people (which I fucking hate) and that makes it even worse. I am posting this at the computer labs at school for example, too many damn people here. I wouldn't like it if someone I didn't know approached me, but if it was someone I knew it would be ok (as long as I didn't hate them).
