I've been waiting for this.

"Frequent Poster" it says under my handle now.
Yet my post rate is only 0.239 per day (as the present moment, that is.  It will be slightly different, once I've hit "Post" of course)

Call me petty but I take a childish delight in that little irony

I wonder if I can make it to dedicated postwhore without ever becoming a really frequent poster

You can whittle away at it by using threads like this.   Just a little post here and there.    Don't go for the longwinded crap I usually post.   People don't read that shit anyways.    I do it still though, even if it isn't always worth the effort.

Congrats.  The games and quizzes can help bump up your count with minimal effort.     Like Alex, I tend to go for more long winded replies myself, but the occasional blurb to "what are you drinking/wearing/thinking/buying" helps keep me from stagnating.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. But the whole point is that I'm not a natural postwhore, and never likely to become one. I'm surely not gonna post just to get my post count up.

I just enjoy little  ironies, like  getting the label of  "Frequent poster" just by hanging around here long enough, posting at the rate of zero-point-something per day   The stats programming is a little bit simplisitic, methinks.   

All I want to know now, is how many years it's gonna take me to to reach the ultimate level of irony? (and will this foum last that long?)

The titles are misleading. Someone could
be here for a long time, and build up quite
a postcount, whereas another, say an unrelenting
spammer, could do so quickly.
