I'm very OCD about my handwriting. I have to have specific pens and always lined paper and a bunch of other things or else I feel

 I have very nice penmanship too, and I have to write on a few layers of paper; the pen just moves better on a soft surface!

Yes! It really does make a difference. I found a brand of pen that I absolutely love. Given that I write so much in a day, I've already gone through 8 of them in just a matter of months. Thankfully, they're the no name brand at my local drugstore.  They write really smoothly and the ink doesn't get blotchy.

I hate when pens get blotchy when I write. I was trying to do my homework yesterday and couldn't find regular pen so used another and I could not think to answer the questions because the pen was bothering me so much. All blotchy and the ink was uneven.

and we're a bit wonky coz I took the picture at a bit of an angle
