I get the regular myself, but I use it more as a cleaner and to free binding parts. My friend shot corrosive ammo in his Cetme and didn't clean it and had to bring it over to my place to get the operating rod portion free of the gas port. A little Kroil here and there and a few vigorous yanks did the trick. I have way too many dedicated lubes to use Kroil for that.

I never used Kroil I have PB Blaster though. WD40 is really good at getting stuff clean that's what I use it mainly for.  When things are going to be in a harsh environment and need protection I spray them with kerosene and 30 weight oil mixed 50-50.  It's a 153 lbs anvil I weighed it on a scale in a fish market.
