can't even hear the rian, it's not any different than a regular roof as far as rain.

I like the look of it and hopefully the snow slides off, sure can't shovel it now because there ain't no way to stand on a wet metal roof

I wonder if it's because you put the metal roof over a shngle one?

Hope that the metal roof is steep enough to shed snow, because you're right about a wet or icy metal roof being very slippery to stand on.

I'd be jealous of it too.

I've always wanted a shop like that myself.

Sort of an antique/junk shop though in my case.

Roscoe is funny because I really hunted around that area for a place before giving that up and finding something in vermont.

I didn't want to go to far from CT. because of family back there, but was looking for lower cost housing and a better deal with taxes, vermont was a better deal.

I'm probably better off in vermont because it's like weirdo city up here so I don't stick out compared to some of the strange people up here.

i was worried it would be yuppie city.

I spent a lot of time searching real estate and taxes and health insurance costs, western MASS had some nice places, but the health insurance was unreal.

The only thing that sucks about this place is the locals are cold to out of state people except in retail places where they are trying to make money, than they are all sorts of phoney friendly, don't lay it on thick or nothing, but it seems a lot of people up here have a chip on their shoulder if somebody wasn't born here.

Everything is the fault of the flatlanders as out of state people are called. Reality is the state is run like a southern mill town with the boss hog mentality, only people from the right families and from old family money get to make a decent living and the trailer trash get the scraps and used as cheap labor.

I used to deliver to a place 2 exits past the hudson river bridge, people where ok. Drove for a place that had plants in CT, NY, VT and the NY plant would sometimes put the CT drivers to work before sending them back, they only had two drivers so I did a few local runs around that part of NY.

The thing is meeting people who actually work for a living and being in more industrial areas is a lot different than moving in the finding out the whole place is full of people living off old family money and only a few down and out people have to work for a living for real.

*drooling*

Nice!

Hoping in a year or two to do this myself, right now my son doesn't have the patience, trying load, unload, deal with people haggling me for a bargain and a 9 yr old bouncing around saying "are we done yet?, are we done yet?, are we done yet?" is just a bit much.
