What kind of encryption did that use Cal?
I didn't have to worry about that. All the basic stuff
has been around for a while.
Open source is nice, but most things that are open are losing to closed source crap that has proprietary bullshit that screws the consumer. Cisco and MS are masters of this obviously.
It's a pain, because the business model for open source
is that for bottom feeders. We were getting specific
requests, and had to hand code stuff that the big
boys gave tools for. Sure, we saved a bit of money,
but our stuff was kinda crap too.
