My mother is strong both in her mind and intelligence. I wrote psychically strong. She's not very physically strong, but when she gets angry, my father (and most other people) fears her. She once cut him with a knife, so that he had to undergo thumb surgery, when he pissed her off. And she's in no way white trash; she works at the Swedish IRS.
