No more than I am. Actually, given that the number of descendants of
Charlemagne are a fairly large set, I'd guess that there's a pretty good
number of descendants of  the Merovignians.

I don't use anything on my hair, but since it takes upwards of several hours to dry, it's often wet from the shower when I take pics of myself.  It looks like this when it's finished drying:

My wife reads over my shoulder, sometimes, and she saw your pic, just now, and said, "What an angry young man!" I explained that you were looking straight at a camera and that takes concentration. "He just looks mad." I reminded her of the many times when I am attending some tedious thing, with probably the exact same expression and she asks me why I'm so mad, when I'm not mad at all.

I often look angry in my pics, for the reason you stated.  I think I pull off the angry look quite well though, which is always something.  I wonder if my pics scare away otherwise interested parties.

I do have a tip; never eat lightbulbs.  As for my hair, I just shower, let it dry and it does the curling by itself.
