I couldn't take either. Symmetry is important in every sense.

Ditto, except in the case of, say, wearing a watch. I don't wear two watches.

For me symmetry is important in some things but not others

yup!

also, i often conciously "combat" any signs of ocd-like behaviour. if i notice that im being unreasonable about symmetry or whatever, i will counter myself.

Embrace your inner OCD it will save the world.  Well at least that is what I tell myself to keep from stressing about it

Not that I really need it (to take it as an mild anti-depressant, I mean) but I've got my own st John's wort in the garden. Made an extract from it and took it (drops in water) before, and although it did help a bit against the depression, it made my thoughts go into 'race' mode.

^ Glad it helps you. Nowadays I sometimes nick a flower from the plant and eat it. Not sure it has an effect though.

Doesn't work for all, I suppose. Well, I used my self made extract (squeezed out oil/juice of flowers on wodka) in '06/'07 over a longer stretch of time and it surely had some positive effects back then. Had some therapy as well in those days but always refused any pharma-drugs. St John's and some other self made herbs extracts (with e.g. valerian) had my preference then. Um, they still do..

Cawwots out of the garden. Well, I didn't put any seeds in the ground myself (on purpose, I mean), these fuckers grew from the bird seeds I dropped during Winter.

Lutra, I admire you for your gardening abilities.  The real reason I wear black is in memory of all the plants I've killed.
