It's reddish and more sensitive than the other one. Tear production is a bit iffy.

Yes, I have. My doctor checked the movement two weeks after the op and said it was much improved. I'll have another check-up after the summer and then he'll decide what to do next.

obviously been away a while (will tell more later) so this is first encounter w/ new design. i like it, but what happened to chatbox? did somebody blow it up? (wont name usual suspects...;)

The old shoutbox is not compatible with SMF v2. There will be a new one in a few weeks' time, including a chat module, once the mod I want is updated to support the new board software.
