i love the original series.  my dad and i used to watch the umpteenth re-run, and take the piss all the way through.  mainly, though, it was cos we were watching The Magic Roundabout reruns, and Star Trek was on afterwards.  oh, and Tom and Jerry - we really loved those, best of all.

must've been late 90s, i reckon, cos i went to my parents' home every wednesday night, as i was rehearsing down the road from them later in the evening.

There was the usual variation of Starfleet uniforms--I rather like the red miniskirts, I must admit --and a weird sticky shiny thing I didn't recognize, and a Starfleet insignia, of all things. Quite innovative, that one. And I think there was a Klingon, too.

i've had a good ol' google imae search, callaway, and they seem to be v attractive, so yes, i'll be one of those, lol.  although the empathy thing is completely beyond me - i can do their description of "empathy", though...
