Um, it happened because I like Lennon's songs and I'd already had another image of him as my avatar (his White Album mugshot). There was something about him counting money that I thought was funny and weirdly appropriate so I chose this one over the others I'd googled.

Then, of course, I've had it for so long that I don't dare changing it. :P
