CALLED DAWKIN'S BLUFF!

I went to a seminar last night where Dawkins was reading from his book.   All the way through, Christians were tearing ofF their crosses and beads and throwing them away while Dawkins cheered then for seeing reason.  However, I jUSt sat through it with a smug smile on my face, waiting to drop my bomb that would defeat him utterley for the last time.

Al the end of the talk I stood up and said, " so basically you deny God from lack of evidence."  he said "yes".

I said "I have no evidence of your thoughts, do I?  So how do I know you have a brain???"

He just stood there, quivering.  Then he fell to his knees and started crying, "God forgive me, what have I done, I have sinned, what have I done".
Then he crawled away on his hands and knees dripping tears on the stage,  while everyone applauded me.  Then I led them to the nearest church.

dawkins thinks he's god anyway.    he's become a little too fervent, if not frothing at the brain, for my liking, in recent years. 

a bit of a fundamentalist, you might say.

I wouldn't be surprised that you had the pleasure of meeting him in person.

Can't say I entirely dislike the guy, seeing as science hasn't been taken seriously in schools for 25 years or something.

I missed it, i may have watched it if i had known it was on.
I find his books seriously boring though.

yep.  i lost the will to live about halfway through "the selfish gene" about a million years ago (or whenever it was published). 

he just smacks a bit too much of the crusader, for my tastes.

I gave up on that, and i gave up on the god delusion.
First book of his i read was 'climbing mount improbable' ( or something like that), i managed to finish it with some skimming.
I just don't like his style, drones on and on and on...
