What I want to name my kids

Jean Evelyn would be nice    I don't like the boy Jean though, sounds a bit too poncy for my liking.

I quite like Julian for a boy or Tobias; he could shorten it to Toby.

I was named Lisa because my mother liked that name long before she ever met my dad.  I like old-fashioned names, too.

If I ever have kids, which is highly unlikely, I'd name the girl Jean.  I haven't really thought about boys' names.

Jean could be a boy's name too, though.

I knew a woman named Jean and she was a wonderful person whom everyone loved, but in her case Jean was short for Virginia.

My sister's name is Lise (pronounced lease) Judith Ann.  My name is Legion.

Sadly I didn't get to name my boy any of the names I mentioned in this thread. No way was I going to name my kid Jimmy after an alcoholic in A league of Their Own or Stillwell after the bratty kid and I hate the name anyway. I didn't want to name my Kid Mike after that mean character in Benny & Joon and plus we have enough Mike's in our family and I don't need a third.

Still curious as to what you named your son. I thought you were going to tell us after he was born.

I really like the name Lisa. It is not common and it is not weird. It is just right. I have only ever known one Lisa in rl and that was in high school.

I was named after a nurse at the hospital where I was born.

I like the name Garrett for a boy and Allison for a girl. Or a boy and a girl named Pratt and Whitney. Because they are the names of aircraft engines.

I like the name Titanica but I doubt my husband let us name our next baby that if it's a girl. But there are lot of others names associated with the Titanic because there were 705 survivors and 2,220 passengers. No one knows the exact because there is contradicting information on how many survivors there were and how many passengers. I can always choose a name a passenger had on the ship. Or name our kid Jack or Rose or Cora or Tommy or Helga (the woman Fabrizo liked, you see more of her in the deleted scenes) after the famous James Cameron movie.

I might name our next kid Shut Up after one of my favorite scenes in the Titanic but then people would think he was being rude to them if they ask for his name.

Maybe I will name our next kid "To the Stars."
