i'm a bit of a sea-lover, too - my dad was in the royal navy during WWII, and he had some tales to tell (although, obviously, not on a sailing ship: he was in the fleet air arm).i do love a well formed bowsprit, though.

www.thetinkerers.com/community this is your forum ? When did you start it? I had been looking for one like this but everything is very specialized where in I tinker with lots of things and have varied interests. How have you tried to get members and are you still interested in it?
