I've seen photographs of her in private -- especially the smiling ones. The reason why she rarely poses in a cheerful manner is because she feels uncomfortable with the fact of putting on a false pretense. Besides, HG likes it when people do guesswork on her personality, making her more of an enigma in their eyes. Hence the non-smiley ones.

Im sure you could also find some muppet who believes that i worship a demon, because on my shrine alter amongst other deities, i have a murti of the Goddess Kali, who some westerners believe to be a demon, when in fact its not that black and white at all, its very wrong and she is a misunderstood Goddess due to western translation and fears.

My friends store in Glasgow has countless books on demonology etc, its an area that can make for an interesting read.
