you say that you are currently unemployed and maybe unemployable ( me also, but i have been lucky).
why don't you become a walkie talkie man.  you love music.  unfortunately sometimes you would have to endure celine dion, but hey, other times you may get rage against the machine.

I don't mind Pink Floyd, but not enough to be considered as a big fan of them because, like the Beatles, they are overrated musicians. Besides, psychedelic & progressive rock music can get old at times.

Anyone who thinks "The Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles is inspirational needs to be shot.
