Have you ever considered turning your linux and web design skills into a career?
Yes. Not quite sure how to go about it though, and I still have a lot to learn. Whatever combination of 'guvvy jobs' I end up with, self employment appears to be the only viable option for me.

1. what do you mostly have in common with most aspers?
2. what do you least have in common with most aspers?
Not sure, really. I seem to share common traits with a lot of other autistics - rigidity under stress, moderate mindblindness, preference for single tasking when I am actually able to focus, inertia, discomfort with eye contact, obsessive behaviour, stimming, fucked up sleeping patterns, and a host of sensory issues.
I was originally considered to be 'hyperactive' as a kid, there being no AS diagnosis in the 80s, and the AD[H]D tag still seems to fit alongside AS, like my son - I usually have difficulty in gaining focus, I'm impulsive, easily distracted, start projects then abandon them, incredibly forgetful, and prone to temper tantrums. Some of these characteristics I have noticed don't seem to be an issue for some autistics, and thats where I seem to differ from some. Also I'm not shy, just fucking clueless.
