Some of the bannings were
for what amounted to something
similar to atomicka style attacks.

The others came directly from spamming
attempts to promote another site. Alex
made a clear decision on this, and rather
than debating it, the former members merely
KEPT posting links. That kind of behavior will
not work, no matter how wrong the actions taken
against it are.

Look, this is not real life, where a govt. can
be overthrown, if it doesn't conform to the
wishes of it's citizens. On the other hand,
there is one simple way to show displeasure,
and some members are doing so.

BUT, losing a couple of posters, no matter how
prolific, isn't going to do any real damage.
And, since they are mainly from a clique, it
may actually make the site easier for those
who post less often.

conceived, in all. At first, I saw it as pure spite,

Necrophagist is indeed badass, but he has a touring band now.   Necrophagist is an actual band that tours, and I am sure future releases will feature an actual band.    Death the band that is credited with being a pioneer in Death Metal, had its first album made by one person also.   Death eventually became a real band and not just the Chuck Shuldiner show.   BTW have you seen Necrophagist cover Death's Crystal Mountain?
