I dont think he was in physical danger as such, but some others there were. Most of the dear party guests who caused the problems were too pissed for dialogue really.

I meant talk to your mom after it was all over, not while it was happening, so hopefully she can do something about it for next time, if there ever is a next time. 

I'm sorry, but I can't understand why your mom hosted a drunken party where drunk guests were fighting with one another. 

Not only don't my husband or I like to be around people who are that drunk ourselves, but we would never place our daughter in harm's way like that.

Assuming I ever hosted a party, if someone got that drunk and started fighting with my other guests, I think I would ask them to either stop fighting or leave and if they did not, then I would call the police to escort them out of my home.
