Without giving too much away - research. I've got a regular salary, but I also do some freelancing, too.

On paper - in other words, I read a bunch of papers and reach conclusions on them - but occasionally I do fieldwork, as well. If I got as far as stating my topic it would be pretty easy to identify me, so I won't.

PS: I'm not filthy rich - but certainly comfortable and fulfilled.
