Is it in a crawl space?  You would not believe just how disgusting they can get down there and most older ductwork was also under sized, so you where probably due. Use high efficiency filters on the furnace and replace them often and you will keep breathing easier  :thumbup:
yes in a crawl space. That duct work has probably been under there fo 40 years. It was nasty to say the least.

Definitely will get some good filters

My youngest is going as a dinosaur too. That's what she was year before last but this time she says she's going to be a different kind. Haven't seen the costume yet though.
