Ah, I am happy to say that both my girls have gone past the pink stage. The room of the youngest is still in pink now, but, it's more a Mexican red than the painful pink that is used in lots of girls rooms.

My Mother said she would warn off any possible boyfriends since from a small child my favorite color was black.  She thought I might make a career of widowhood.  And I guess I did since I'm now Queen Victoria.

Last year my youngest wanted hers black (ceiling too) and dark purple only. I did not allow it. But, did admire her taste.
