I saw this happening about twelve years ago, wanted it immediately, but I could not afford to do more than imagine how cool this could be.  I never imagined that I could buy a television (at a substantial discount due to manufacturer's employee accommodations) that would "seamlessly"  melt into the network system with nothing else added and access the internet with my remote.  Shit, we are there, Pal!!

BTW, I edited my earlier post to add:

"OH, I forgot to mention, yesterday - I will need to multiply my available storage space by a factor of seven as I move into Bluray rips for all my movies."


I have seen that 3T drives, both externals and internals, are on the near horizon.

Today I bought assorted paper goods for the home, sliced turkey, pita bread, various yogurts and cottage cheese products, skim milk,
artichoke-and-spinach hummus, ruby grapefruits and Pink Lady apples!  :2thumbsup:

Ooh, Pink Lady Apples are great.

They are awesome! And I couldn't see them in the produce section at first...turns out another type of apples had been layered on top of them!
I carefully picked out 2 bags' worth of Pink Ladies from underneath the impostors and am all set for the week!  :2thumbsup:

I managed to snag some peaches at Whole Food for 99 cents last week, lowest price of all the groceries.  They weren't organic, but DH really likes peaches.

Antibiotics, Junior Mints and the obligatory nail polish because I was at the chemist.

I wish I'd bought Jelly Beans and not the Junior Mints though.
