Vinegar.

Hope it will help the poor mosquito bitten feet of my youngest. Bandaged the swollen feet and soaked the bandage in vinegar. Covered it up with some plastic and big socks. Hope her feet will be a lot better when she wakes.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

This hi tech multimeter :headbang2:

That is really cool. I prefer analog multimeters, because if there is any inductance or capacitance built up in the circuit, you will see the needle jump when you touch the leads to it. You can't see that with a digital meter.

Does this really work? Black or white vinegar? I'm allergic to mosquito bites. They can itch for weeks on me, so understand how your baby must be feeling....especially if the bites are on the feet. Yuck.

Yes, it does help. Her feet look a lot better.

I try to prevent needing it though. The itching gets worse from scratching. Not scratching would be the best. So, when I see bites on feet I often put lidocaine ear-drops on them. That numbs the skin, reduces the itching, reduces the scratching, speeds up the healing.

With a true allergy, I don't know how well vinegar works. I used white. My Mum used both colours when I was a kid.

I bought my son a fairly modest stereo of his own for use in his bedroom.

He has a Sony five disc changer, a one hundred watt per channel receiver and brand new bookshelf speakers, all his own. This is a perk he deserves for finishing school as well as he did. We had many troubles during the year, but once the chips all felll, his grades were quite improved and TBH, outstanding.

He is probably the only eleven year old boy in town who has his own component stereo system.
 :2thumbsup:

I made him put it all together on the kitchen table for now (to make sure it all works, etc.  this is not only a perk, but an exercise for him. He did it !)

Tomorrow, we will spend some time actually installing it into its home and mounting the speakers. (I will drill holes in the wall to mount his speakers properly, run the speaker cables, but he will do the rest of the hook ups.)
