I should have read your previous post more closely. You did say it was from an ad!

Yes it is still a sad situation with the indigenous Australians here. Up north especially where they drink away their lives while their young ones sniff petrol. So much potential lost.

I know nothing about the Mesoamerican people. My kindle knew the word though!

Today I bought myself entry to a games day that runs once a month. Our Star Trek Adventures games have all but ended when the captain decided that they didn't want to play anymore. Everyone else is now too busy. It's just Kayleigh and I left.

So this games day is run by our previous captain at a primary school large room that also has a kitchen and two toilets. There's lots of large tables and relatively comfortable chairs for people to play board games, tabletop games or paint miniatures. Today we (five of us) played The Captain is Dead and Zombie Dice.

I'm home now and very glad that I drove home in daylight.

I bought a pair of trackies (which I have to wash) and a bum bag (that's what they're called here) from the Salvos for $9.

Goodwill and St. Vincent's trip on Saturday with Daughter. She bought a fancy looking English tea service set.

I brought home two really nice, large kitchen blades (one Swedish, one Japanese) to restore, 12 rock, soul CDs and two Classical LP Collections.

Also have to mention, since the price went up again, an Everything car wash. That was $$$!
It's been so rainy and mucky. Haven't done the inside yet.
Don't feel liked dragging an electric beast out into the drizzle for half an hour, but that won't need any $$ to accomplish, just a dryer day.

That won't be today.

Some new music for my mp3 player... including some songs from the soundtrack of the Kdrama I am watching.

This is a message board, not a ouija board  :zombiefuck:

A stand mixer down from $400 to $150. A diamond craft set for my sister's birthday, and a card. A Spotlight voucher for my mum for Mother's Day.

About 40 street signs, a civil defense water barrel and some block and tackles at auction yesterday

Mostly do have three stop signs and a few no parking ones that are the same

That's so cool. I always wanted to steal a Concealed Entrances sign near where I live.

Two stamp albums (with stamps) from the Salvos. One is full of New Zealand stamps and the other has European stamps. It has a stamp with Hitler in it and the staff were all oooh wow. I said I had a full page of Hitler stamps and they were all oooh wow again.

A new phone. It's a Google Pixel 8. It feels a lot more solid than my old phone (Huawei Nova 3i).

^They are nice.

I bought a proper Panama hat off an Aussie hat shop. My touristy one had shrunk so much I could no longer wear it.

Found some seas scallops at the market this morning on sale.
HUGE!
At least two inches across and an inch thick. Bought 4lbs, about $18.

Have not seen these around landlocked Indiana for quite a while.
I was there for the salmon this monger keeps fresh.
Ended up with some #4 shrimp. That's a quarter pound each.

But he also had some pompano fresh from the Gulf.
I kind of altered my budget plans all around.

You just don't see this variety around here!
