Replaced my old Pixel with a new one. s
I'm thinking of getting one of those. I've had my Huawei since 2018 and I've had no trouble with it at all. Screen is fine, no burn in and it charges quickly. And I only have to charge it every three days with normal use.
So what's your new Pixel like?
It's not unlike the old one, but it's faster, has more storage space, more AI, more everything. I charge it once every 30 hours or so, with my usual usage, but I can obviously drain it a lot faster by running graphic-intensive stuff or the GPS a few hours.
The selling point for me is the Android experience with the Pixels. I've had Samsungs in the past but they tend to be bloated and inconsistent, whereas a Pixel - all Pixels I've owned - provide a consistent approach. Some apps will misbehave because that's the nature of Android, but the OS and any app that actually follows the guidelines will be fine. You get something approaching the consistency of Apple but without the lock-in.
I like it. Not sure I agree with the pricing level these days, but for me it's a company expense that I choose to accept.
