Mentioned earlier the nice collection of LPs I bought at auction and the tools, no one cared about.
In the mass of tool mess, digging through it all, I found a book manuscript in a leather folio. Folio was upper end quality and looked very well made, inside a box, inside a cabinet.
Apparently he was some kind of local writer I had never heard of and his family auction was to settle the will, still going through legal contest some twelve years after his death. I have tried to contact the family, but can't get anyone. This old manuscript might be worth more than ALL those other goodies I bought. Especially to the family, but if someone would just return a call or email, I would give this back to them.
I feel a need to preserve it and find out more.
paraphrasing: Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in. :^)
