I'm thinking about getting a small (and cheap) projector.  Doesn't have to be particularly good.   Just for watching things on warm summer nights outside.  I want to pay up to £80.

Anyone got similar?
Looked at them many times. Haven't bought one.
Those warm spring nights here usually mean wind. I would need a screen connected to something solid. That tidbit has kept me from getting one. They are super cheap these days!

... and they fit in your pocket.

A really nice pair of salt and pepper grinders. After over 20 years of sub-par shitty performers, these look sturdy, function well, and they're glass...which reduces the risk of them melting to the stove.

Not saying that has ever happened or anything.  :rollingpin:

A new headset for my neverending online meetings. My last one gave up the ghost.

I will be buying toner for the printer today because Kayleigh doesn't have the money. She printed out a whole lot of black background pages and that pisses me off. She bought pdf pages instead of the actual books.

I found Heineken alcohol free beer. I like it. Don't want scary German cheeses much, but some dark rye bread would pair nicely.

Mentioned earlier the nice collection of LPs I bought at auction and the tools, no one cared about.

In the mass of tool mess, digging through it all, I found a book manuscript in a leather folio. Folio was upper end quality and looked very well made, inside a box, inside a cabinet.

Apparently he was some kind of local writer I had never heard of and his family auction was to settle the will, still going through legal contest some twelve years after his death. I have tried to contact the family, but can't get anyone. This old manuscript might be worth more than ALL those other goodies I bought. Especially to the family, but if someone would just return a call or email, I would give this back to them.

I feel a need to preserve it and find out more. :GA:

Funny coincidence: I'm listening to The Godfather soundtrack as I write this.

Bought a bag of ice for Kayleigh. It seems that crunching on it as she does is a stim of sorts.

My cousin used to do that

Kayleigh has done it ever since I've known her. She has her own ice drawer in the freezer.

I watched all three about a month ago.

Pecan pie to celebrate Pi Day.

Groceries

Stopped at a favorite local dine for b'fast.  Bought banana nut pancakes for me.  Brought home banana nut pancakes for The PR, cabbage and corned beef dinner and a grilled chicken salad for dinner.  The PR will get the pancakes when she wakes up (it's 5:45 pm and she's still sleeping) and the salad.  I'll eat the cabbage dinner later.
