Two sets of shelves. One for the lounge room and one to go next to the bookcase, for more books. Will be putting them together today sometime.

Ice tea? ick!

I can't get to the idea of liking the stuff, tried it, don't  like it cold. I do like proper tea, hot mind you. But for the life of me, I can't picture myself doing anything other than throwing away a brew thats gone cold.

It'll warm up once she's drunk it of course, but personally, I want it hot BEFORE it reaches my mouth, it doesn't feel right, or taste right, when cold, the tannins make it feel 'off' somehow when cold.

As for me bought a bag of baccy and several packs of various chewy fruit candies.

And last night, me and the old man went looking for a kind of candy similar to midget gems, but a bit different, can't remember the damn name now, but that we haven't been able to find for years. Finally managed to find some in an online speciality sweet shop. I ordered 3-4 packs of hard liquorice too. The kind that shatters or snaps rather than bends, like nigroids only bigger if its what I'm hoping it is. Was looking for salmiak, salted liquorice, salted with both ordinary salt and NH4Cl, but they didn't have any, so had to settle for the next most appealing thing they had by way of liquorice.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

All I did was order Jimmy Johns today.

As well as a pair of Satoshi Kon movies on Amazon

Two movies that are hard to find...  :o

A new motorcycle helmet.

The liner on the old one was getting torn up.

Found a Casio "Personal-mini" calculator at a thrift store for 2 dollars and some change, in box with leather sleeve and instructions. The calculator has a 6-digit, green, lit (LED?) display, and an A/C jack. Apparently, this calculator was produced around 1975-76. It almost works fine with a fresh pair of AA batteries, but one of the digits is dead. >:( Oh well, only a couple of bucks. Here's a picture (not mine)

Old Casio stuff looks so cool. The display is probably a VFD.

Take it apart and try to fix it.  :orly:

Cool, I am having a haircut tomorrow. Can't wait for my hair to be shorter and off my neck.

It's about 1 inch long at the crown, short male cut in back.  It was done with a razor, which I prefer.  Evidently razor cuts are coming back into style.

I've had a razor cut before. It feels funny. My haircut will be long at the front and short at the back. I usually have a certain hairdresser do it and I don't have to say anything. Bonus is that she likes my hair. But she's on holidays and I will have to explain what I want to another hairdresser. Bummer. I hope I get it right.
