A bottle of port and some black paint.
That sounds positively sinister. What are you planning?
Painting the kitchen cabinets.
Been planning that for 4 years now, was going to go with an off white, then changed my mind to white white...but with the condition they're in and the daily chore of scrubbing fingerprints off of the white paint...I changed my mind yet again.
Black...black is good.
When we rebuilt the house I chose a very pale, pale grey for the walls and a slightly bluish grey for the trim. The kitchen has black glossy cabinets. PA
hates them, but I LOVE them. They look a storm of black ice would look like if that could happen. They were supposed to be stained black, but the guy who did the staining had never stained before, but I like his mistake.
(PA gave me total free reign on whatever I wanted to do in the house. The only input he had was on the flooring. I ignored his desire for carpet and went with large grey tile because tile is cooler in the summer in Louisiana.)
