Those are also drugs you have to actually make an effort to look for.
I don't reaaaally get that. Most drugs give similar experiences (not the same! but similar), and once you've tried some, you kindov know what you get.
I tripped uber-balls on mushrooms - and then on LSD (they were practically identical), and I know have a been-there-done-that relation towards it. I also understand why the trip happened, what the brain does, why reality becomes warped the way it does.
I also tried stimulants, and they usually do nothing for me. If anything, they make me feel bad. Cocaine did absolutely nothing (no. I didn't get ripped off), but that too I understand why. Cocaine reacts with your emotions, it boosts your confidence. My confidence is fine, because I know that the world is a craphole, and dreams are for suckers - and I'm not lamenting it. I'm fine with it. Cocaine reacts with people who fill their lives with lament, it changes lament into confidence, and you strut more. If you strut allready, you might just as well snort flour. Same as if you allready got a serious brain defect that removes all filtration from your neural input, you're pretty much on LSD all day long.
Alcohol bothers me, a bit of cliche arguments here, but I don't like the loss of control. I don't like how potent it is (most people don't even KNOW how potent alcohol is. A small shot is enough to make you drunk. A big glass of pure booze will make you vomit, shit and die. Good luck trying to shit yourself by smoking too much weed)
Then there's weird exotic shit like Salvia, or legal "state drugs" like antidepressants and epilepsy medicine and whatnot.
By this level, I can't help but suspect a competitive relation to the drugs (either that, or a complete desperation, as in full on junkie mentality, where one will snort epilepsy pills one day, and dried and powdered banana peels the next)
Imho, aspies should stick to weed. In fact, most people should. It gives you a lil sense of lull, like a glass of beer, but without the hastle of filling your belly with liquid, and walking around like a water balloon
