It's a 1970 2+2 coupe with the 4.2 inline six. Not exactly the year or body style I wanted, but hey, still an E-Type. Just got a call today saying it should be delivered tomorrow. I'll take some pics as I'm sitting in it drinking beer and making engine noises.

Make sure you buy plenty of drip pans to put underneath it when it's parked.   :hahaha:

1970 is a great MY. It's actually drivable, from what I hear.

Though my Jaguar mechanic says that they are all a pain to service because they break down all the time.

Lurch went to Germany and he returned with a gift for me.  It is a hand crank music box which plays Beethoven's Für Elise.

(Finally) I bought a new mattress, a slatted bed base and a pillow p/m an hour ago. In two weeks time they will be delivered at home.

Totally fed up with the mattresses I own at the moment.  :finger:
