^Parts, you have 45 of those?

I bought shampoo at the chemist. They didn't have the sort I usually use so I'm going to try something else - Head & Shoulders Clinical.

Yes might even try and get some more today. Paid around fifty cents each and they should sell for five to ten dollars each

I bought a new "velcro" base for my orbital sander.
Only problem is that UPS has delivered it to the wrong address, apparently.

I am told that there is an almost exact address in Chicago and they will have to attempt to retrieve it before they can give me more information.

I just want my sander to hold on to its sanding disc again.

My first question: Have they ever heard of zip codes? It's kind of an old concept from the '60s, but it still works, mostly. Get to the zip code first and THEN start looking at street names, then house numbers.

Fact is, no one can ship anything through UPS without a zip code first. How did they fail?

I have two that need new bases and have been meaning to order some but haven't got around to it.  Roybi and Dewalt ones are available by me at Home Depot but mine are both Bosch and the points they are secured don't line up

The Sunday Boston Globe and a $1 scratch lottery ticket for Carla.

Does The Sunday Boston Globe look anemic like the Sunday New York Times does now?  I remember my father getting the Times and have it be three inches thick now it looks like the weekday ones used to.

I bought 30 more of the post box doors

Yes it does, anemic and a very quick read thru for me.  Carla likes the Globe magazine to take to work with her.  It's gotten much thinner the last few years. >:(

An electric tin opener.

I accidentally read that as an "eclectic" tin opener. I wanted to know more, since I have many oddball accoutrement's for the kitchen.

I bought one recently, too. My wife's carpal tunnel problems have come back around and without me there, she can not open tin cans on her own without a struggle.

We did some shopping rounds today.
It started lightly with my son wanting to get his special shampoo (he sports a Robert Plant mane) and my daughter wanted to tag along.
It turned into an extended cruise with many stops.
Large, decorative trim mouldings for a mirror project my daughter wants to do. She had picked up a huge, but broken on the corner, mirror a bit ago. I helped to show her how to cut it straight again and promised to help her frame it. That project continues now.

I thought she was just going in to buy some spring bulbs to plant (which she did) and some special potting mix for her succulents, but she also came out with three more large plants, which were on clearance sale.

My son wanted to get a new computer microphone, since he recently tangled his foot and jerked his old one onto the floor and tromped it while dinking with the ever anxious dog.

Too many stops, too much shopping. I will need a break from this!

My wife pointed out that all the tins we buy have pull tops.  I pointed out back that not the Aldi tuna chunks - the ones without the pull top are 40p cheaper than the pull top ones and as I eat maybe one tin of this every 10 days I would break even on the tin opener after 15 months and every tin I used it on after that would be cool sweet profit.

She said "You are so f**king autistic".  "Thank you" I said.

She knows how to pay me a compliment when I've earnt one.

A new tap set for the kitchen sink, Kayleigh is going to install it. For that I bought her a cool bedroom fan that has 18 blades.

At the Salvos yesterday, I bought a red Christmas shirt with Santas and reindeer all over it and some stamps on envelopes. There were also aerogrammes and I don't know what to do with those. I also inadvertently bought someone's coin collection.
