A new refrigerator a nice side by side.  It was in the  scratch and dent  isle with a couple marks, nothing on the front,  and some missing shelving it was originally $1598 marked down to $600 we got it down to $475.  Only real bitch was I had to take one door off to get it in the kitchen

I wonder what happened to the shelves that went missing? You definitely got a bargain. My fridge cost more than that and it is puny.
A haircut. Short at the back, long at the front.
So you have a reverse mullet? :orly:
Indeed, I was thinking that when I wrote it. Business at the back, party at the front.

It is the first time I have had a proper style.

Today I bought a memory foam pillow - I will see how I sleep tonight. I also did food shopping.
Most of the nights I love my memory foam pillow. Bought one last summer. But now and then I toss it aside and use my feather pillow.

I find that the memory foam pillow feels completely different in summer and winter. So, if you find that you do not like it, you can store it for a few months, and try again when the weather is cooler.
I think I will like it a lot more in winter. My head somewhat sinks into it and gets very warm. So I sleep on the very edge of it.

Today I bought cat food, lots and lots of cat food.

Insulation, sheet rock and paint along with the necessary labor.

Are you using conventional fiberglass batts or something else?  Any details would be good it's the business I am in and am always curious about how things are done in other parts of the country

Fiberglass batts and some blown insulation.  The spray foam isn't too popular here.  BTW - the duct work came out spectacular on the leakage test.  We've passed all the rough-in inspections.

I'm not a big fan of spray foam except for airsealing, I feel it's used a lot when it isn't necessary and installed by poorly trained people who can pretty much   destroy your house if they screw up, I have seen it happen .  I mostly install blown in insulation and fiberglass batts.   Good to hear it's going well

More coffee for the keurig.

This thing is a money pit...and I can't say I'm all that impressed with the coffee it makes either, the iced tea is nice though.  :apondering:

A pack of small torsion springs, some wire bushings and a EKE 21V 150W light bulb from McMaster-Carr

2 VS pocket mirrors in a freaking pattern I hate, they got rid of the one I liked  :headhurts:...yea I need a VS 'hello Hannah stop spending all yo money on that page' But I'll give them away more then likely...I think I have enough VS stuff, honestly it's ridiculous!

I need to get some stuff on Land's End or something because I need comfortable professional looking pants, shirts (some of the VS shirts are good, but a lot of them have writing on them) Seeing as I will by the end of 2015 have an IT job after my two A plus tests are passed...yea I need some work clothes in my arsenal...I'm also losing fat weight (though still weigh the same) and have changed shape so I might just go to the nice Goodwill and get clothing there as my size changes...

Or at least tell us the specs.

It's this one. A 6" mirror with a quite short focal length so fast f/5 optics. Small enough to actually be able to move the damned thing around when needed, and large enough to be useful for deep sky observation.

I considered getting a Dobsonian but since I probably want to do some astrophotography, this one was better suited for the task.

Meds for me and Ceilidh. They were expensive, especially the Caltrate, so now I am broke.

I've been needing a new backpack for adventures, and bike riding and walking during inclement weather- every time it rains a little I have to wrap my books and laptop in plastic bags...it is barely water proof and does not hold my books as well anymore.

So I bought myself a used French military F1 day pack (25 bucks)- it'll be for daily use, but also has loops for an extra pack on bottom and top if i want to go camping. Its waterproof and looks excellent for carrying books.

Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.
