Bought myself a small deep fryer this afternoon.

It needs only 1 litre of oil in it and that's great. Perfect for only one person.

Those, we call 'bitterballen'. Something typically Dutch, I think. They're really delicious.

Crunchy on the outside and they're filled with a beef ragout. Nice, with a little bit of mustard.

^ Well, those are a tadski different, I think. Those one probably boils in water. Like a dumpling.

Possibilities are almost endless with this deep fryer. Home-made French fries, potato chips, croquettes, chicken wings, fish like cod with a layer of flour (and egg first), etc. etc..

Enjoying my Raspberry Pi. Awesome little computer for programming.

Thinking of getting a breakout board for it so I can interface it with electronics projects.

Picked up my shoes again today. Shoe repair dude glued on new rubber soles (on heels as well). Brilliant pair these are.. and now they will last.. maybe for six more months. Hopefully even longer.

Also bought a T-shirt, a chef's knife for my sister (birthday present) and some fish skewers for on the barbecue in half an hour or so. De-frikkin'-licious.
