"Der Maulwurf Grabowski" and "ogen van tijgers".
Also went to a supermarket in a town not to far away from here, to get groceries I can't get in the village.
Is that the Big Grabowski and hold those tigers?
Both are books for children. "The mole Grabowski" about a little mole, who has to migrate, because of his fields being turned into a massive building site. It is written in beautiful German, and would make a nice first book for my oldest. It is targeted at a much younger audience, but, the language is delicious, and I think she will enjoy the way the sentences run.
"Eyes of Tigers" is the first book ever that my youngest wants to have. She sees reading as a real chore. But, this kind of SF book, written before she was born, about an era way after she will not be any more has won her over.
