But, he did make it clear what INTENSE was on I2. Was not long after I joined here. Massive mess.

Dammit, the whole site was spammed with nasty pictures with the help of someone outside I2. Site was not usable with all that shit. Not sure if my memory is right in thinking the content was stuff that could have gotten I2 shut down.

No matter how much of an OK bloke you can be, after shit like that a ban is the most sensible outcome. A ban is a ban. That that means no membership by proxy seems logical to me.

If he urgently needs to talk to someone in person, via someone else, there is PM, private message. If it needs to be done in public, there is FB. Oh, and there is mail, phone, skype and more ways to communicate.

I just saw it!  Gotta scroll down.  And this is very old in internuts age!  I'm really surprised it hasn't been deleted in the effort to blot out all records of his existence.  That's what ancient Egyptians did with people that were hated!
