My recently deceased grandparents, who are of Scottish descent, were very serious about Scottish dancing. They danced in Scotland, and taught it for years. They had the most beautiful outfits, with the kilt and sporran and tartans. They even made up a reel and named it after me. My question is, what kind of Scottish dancing was it? They are no longer around for me to ask. Aren't there like two kinds, the country and the royal??? Or highland? Can you clarify for me?
