That's the first time I've ever heard that said. In what instances haven't I made sense? I'm fairly confident I can trust my own judgement on this matter.

This is a fragment of a sentence, especially so since there is no context before or after to deduce what he is talking about. The whole post lacks cohesion.

i think chewing gum ect while smoking as supposed to actually be worse for you... think it gives you a higher rate of giving oral cancers cause youre utilizing those juices and opening pores ect for all the ciggy chemicals to have more direct accesss.

That is the perception, yes. It is possible, however, to be narcissistic without any ego problems. It is NPD, to be specific, that is resultant, at least according to the pseudoscience that is psychology, from self-esteem issues. A hollow shell is someone who needs others to define them and make themselves feel good. Because a narcissist is always right, even though they might fail to realize they aren't, they don't need the reassurance that others also believe they are. It seems to me that, because we are so self-assured, it is thought impossible to have such a confident ego, and hence it must therefore be a front for low self esteem. I would like to point you to a couple of threads in which I've argued that it is indeed great to be a narcissist, and erroneous to assume there is something wrong with it. You'll love these. Narcissists rock.
