you really have no motivation to lie.  you posted the PM from alex to you.  what is he saying.....that you edited it before you posted it.

quite frankly, it doesn't make sense to me what motivation alex would have to lie.   granted, there are reasons and it is possible.

calandale has the strongest reasons to lie, here.  and the strongest reasons to tell alex in the first place.

Yes, Alex has a reputation for telling lies about PM's. It has been his MO that he has repeated several times.

But then on the other hand what McJ said is right. It should be a no brainer for you to figure out who is lying.

to his asking if I desired to be demodded, just to be certain that I've
