Haven't been able to come up with any questions lately that couldn't be construed in a different way, but I think this one works.
With regards to the season finale of House, from both perspectives, what do you think of Cameron giving up her dead husband's sperm to marry Chase and how do you think House will do in the bin?
I didn't follow the whole thing well enough to have the full backstory on Cameron, but I think that Chase should have been OK with her keeping the sperm if he was so damned sure that he loved her forever and yaddah yaddah yaddah- in fact I think he was being ridiculous to not marry her when she said she was willing to marry him but didn't think she was totally sure. She's supposed to have the vagina, not him.
I don't know what House will do in the bin, but it would be a pretty easy transition to have him solve a medical mystery of a fellow patient as a season starter next season. I think it's really sad that, from how it seems, his 'fantasy' was to be with Cuddy in a (relatively) healthy way, and the fangirl in me wants him to tell her that and have her hear it, though I know it would kill the show. (Well, let's face it, if it hasn't jumped the shark yet, it's driving up the ramp in front of the tank.) Perhaps a bit more likely is that he'll be back on the ward but absolutely not talking about his little trip to the nuthouse; he'll prolly end up getting regular tests; he'll prolly end up back on the vicodin, but either sans hallucinations, or he'll learn to ignore them. (I'd assume that it would be impossible for House to be psychotic and still work as a doctor, so I'd assume he'd detox fully while in the nuthouse.) We might egt some shots of him in therapy; perhaps he'll end up on some headmeds that make it possible for him to be on vicodin but not be psychotic.
Whatever happens I do hope for at least one more season; I have my doubts about how good the show would be able to be if extended more than just one more season, but as long as it's profitable they'll keep making it, and I'll prolly keep watching it, if it goes well with my schedule.
What're your thoughts?
