Thats how a lot of users describe it. Its not that far off the mark. Warm, fuzzy sensation, euphoria, its very relaxing, a lot more sedating than a lot of other opiates. And one tends to nod off into a sort of semi-waking, semi-dreaming state, snap back out of the dreaming, then fall back into it.
Most of my opiate experiences haven't been with H though, but other opiates, many of which are more stimulating. Done quite a bit of poppy pod tea, which is very stimulating, physically speaking, probably, I would be inclined to think, due to the presence of thebaine, a minor constituent of opium poppies amongst the 20+ alkaloids present in the plant, most of it being codeine and morphine. Its quite different from oral morphine, or codeine. And had quite a lot of morphine in my lifetime. Its actually OTC here in the UK, believe it or not, albeit in a rather expensive dosing format, as J.collis browne's mixture, which has 20mg of morphine per bottle. A decent dose IV, but orally its much less bioavailable thanks to pretty extensive first pass metabolism in the liver. So a nontolerant user is likely to need about 2 bottles of the stuff.
And of course there is my painkiller rx, oxy, that too is more stimulating. I've enjoyed H the times I've done it, but I haven't done it very often. I just wish my pain meds were better at shutting my damn hip up. They do a good job with my knee, but my hip is another matter entirely.
